Biographical history

A. Thomas served in the Royal Canadian Navy. He was an engineer on HMCS Niobe and other HMC ships during World War I.

Fonds consists of a small, red leather diary kept by stoker petter officer A. Thomas (later magistrate) on HMCS Rainbow and Grise, dating from 26 April 1918 to 20 November 1918 and a chief engineer's log book for SS Salvage King commanded by A. Thomas, dating from April to May 1940.
