Administrative history
The Canadian Pacific Railway British Columbia Coast Steamship Service was established in 1903 when the C.P.R. purchased the Canadian Pacific Navigation Company. The company served the transportation and shipping needs of the coast of B.C. with its "Princess" line of ships.

Fonds consists of an address made to Sir A. Ramaswami Mudaliar, chairman of India Steamship Company Limited, delivered at the annual general meeting of shareholders December 1951 and 1952, two copies of a service contract for floating staff personnel of India Steamship Company Limited, and a typed report/meeting transcript dated 18 January 1955.
Also contains a scrapbook related the Canadian Pacific Railway BC Coast Steamship Service.
