Fonds consists primarily of documents relating to activities and the capture of the Navy of Nazi Germany (Kriegsmarine) as well as documents relating to the Royal Navy and Royal Canadian Navy.

Hitler Youth documents, in German, belonging to Ferdinand Becker including what appear to be two passports or identification cards held in a leather case dating to 1933 and 1936 and two certificates, one dated 1938.

List of names and ranks of crew members of M/V Weser, a German ship captured off the coast of Manzanillo, Mexico by the HMCS Prince Robert in 1940.

Two newspaper clippings desribing the escape and recapture of two Nazi prisoners of war from a Calgary, Alberta area internment camp, 1941.

Newspaper clippings describing the capture of a German speed freighter by HMCS Prince Robert and other encounters between the German and Canadian Navy, 1940.
