Fonds consists of 53 certificates issued to Charles Edward Wilson pertaining to his naval career from indenture to retirement dating from 1871 to 1920.

Fonds also includes a certificate of indenture for Charles William Walton, grandson of James Black, to apprentice with Thomas William Gunter (sp?) and Charles Bishop for 7 years starting 1 September 1850 and ending 1 September 1857.
